Celebrating National Women’s Day: A Celebration at the Western Cape Rehabilitation Centre
In celebration of National Women’s Day in South Africa, we came together to recognise the incredible strength and resilience of our female patients and nursing staff. This day, marked annually on 9th of August, serves as a poignant reminder of the struggles and achievements of women throughout South Africa’s history. This year, we aimed to honour this spirit by providing a small yet meaningful gesture of care and support to our female patients and ward staff.
Care packs included essential feminine hygiene products and toiletries that aimed to promote a sense of dignity and self-care among the patients, reminding them that they are valued and deserving of care.
While August was National Women’s Month, we will continue to celebrate, honour and protect the women who play a pivotal role in our local communities.
